We've given you our top ways to save during our non-peak spring season, but you'll need to know what events and themes are happening during the weekends so you can pack accordingly!

 

In late spring, early summer, Fruita is known for the Fat Tire Festival, happening on May 2-4, 2025. This festival is one of the nations longest running, non-race biking mountain bike event. Enjoy 3 days of riding on trails throughout the city in Colorado or shop for gear, apparel, and outdoor accessories downton. 

 

On of the biggest attractions of our Colorado campground is it's close proximity to the Colorado National Monument. Famous for its spectacular buttes and spires, the Colorado National Monument offers plenty of outdoor activities. Drive or bicycle the 23-mile Rim Rock Drive and take in the views. Enjoy more than a dozen easy-to-challenging hiking trails, world-class mountain biking or rock climbing.
